Dr. Harel worked for the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.pugetsound.va.gov\/research\/\" class=\"broken_link\">\u00a0Health Services Research &amp; Development (HSR&amp;D) Center of Excellence, VA Puget Sound Healthcare System<\/a>, and the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.alz.washington.edu\/\">National Alzheimer\u2019s Coordinating Center (NACC)<\/a> while receiving post-doctoral training at the University of Washington.\u00a0 Dr. Harel has served as a biostatistical consultant nationally and internationally since 1997. Through his collaborative consulting, Dr. Harel has been involved with a variety of research fields including, but not limited to Alzheimer\u2019s, diabetes, cancer, nutrition, HIV\/AIDS, health disparities, anti-racism, and alcohol and drug abuse prevention.
