The time period was the past year for Medicare patients and the past year or two for patients with private health insurance coverage.\n<ul>\n \t<li>Slightly greater percentages of females than males had an ambulatory or preventive care visit.<\/li>\n \t<li>In 2015, the year prior to the CT SIM implementation, 98.3% of females who had Medicare health insurance coverage and 98.8% of females who had private insurance coverage had an ambulatory or preventive care visit.
