is any health problem that includes the heart or blood vessels.\u00a0 It is the leading cause of death in the United States.\u00a0 This measure estimated the number of Years of Potential Life Lost (YPLL) for persons dying before age 75 due to premature death related to cardiovascular disease per 100,000 population.<\/P>\n\n<p><strong>Gender<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><ul id=\"u536411-13\" class=\"list0 nls-None\">\n \t<li>Since 2013, males consistently had substantially higher rates of YPLL due to cardiovascular disease than females.<\/li>\n \t<li>The rate of YPLL increased from 433.8 in 2016 to 526.8 in 2017 for females, but decreased from 1054.3 in 2016 to 1000.0 in 2017 for males.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/p>\n<p>__________________<\/P>\n\n<p>Information source:<\/P>\n<p><ul>\n \t<li>Mortality
