Parking FAQs

One hangtag is allowed per individual.
Report the loss of your hangtag to the Parking, Transportation and Event Services. A replacement hangtag will be issued. The cost for a replacement hangtag is $15.
Please contact the Parking, Transportation and Event Services with your vehicle license plate number, color, make, model and where you are parked. The UConn Health Police Department will be notified in order to avoid ticketing.
Your hangtag will not give you access; only your ID badge allows you to access the garages/gated parking areas. If you forget your badge, you should park in areas that do not require the use of your badge.
Patients and visitors are allowed to use the valet service located at the Main Entrance and the Outpatient Pavilion, or the garages and marked parking lots. Please refer to the Patient and Visitor Parking Map for locations.
We are currently auditing the parking registration information in our database. When this is completed, we may be able to accept requests for changes in parking. Watch for announcements in future Parking Updates.
A UConn Health hangtag and a State of CT Handicap placard are required to park in a handicap parking space.
Yes a co-worker can pick up your hangtag. They will be required to sign for it on your behalf.
This means that you are able to park in all Area 1 lots, except for those labeled as Academic (A,B, C, D, K).
