Our program covers over 20,000 employees and their family members in 34 Connecticut state agencies, a municipality and one corporation. Our client organizations represent diverse populations that range in size from under 10 employees to over 4,000.<\/p>\n<h3>Basic EAP Services<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Assessment, brief counseling and referrals for employees and immediate family members<\/li>\n<li>EAP employee orientation and supervisor training<\/li>\n<li>24 hours per day, 7 days per week toll-free availability for all employees<\/li>\n<li>Statewide coverage through network of affiliate providers<\/li>\n<li>Consultation with managers and supervisors<\/li>\n<li>Crisis intervention<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating Fitness for Duty evaluations<\/li>\n<li>Debriefings following traumatic events at work<\/li>\n<li>Organizational support through challenging times (e.g., reorganization, layoffs, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>In-service training and \u201cbrown-bag\u201d lunch seminars on a variety of topics with emphasis on prevention and education<\/li>\n<li>Promotion of EAP programs and services<\/li>\n<li>Quarterly (upon request) and annual program usage reports<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM Services Since 1992, UConn Health&#8217;s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) has been providing assessments, referrals and brief counseling services to employees with a wide range of personal problems.
