Thank you for your interest in visiting and observing the UConn Health Department of Neurosurgery.<\/p>\n

Whether you\u2019re just beginning your journey as a pre-med student, currently enrolled in medical school, or joining as a visiting resident, we\u2019re excited to support your exploration of neurosurgery.<\/p>\n

Please follow the appropriate pathway below based on your current level of training:<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Shadowing\/Unpaid Experiences<\/div><\/h3>

Who is this for?<\/strong>
\nUndergraduates, pre-med students, graduate students, and medical students not affiliated with the UConn School of Medicine.<\/p>\n

Purpose:<\/strong>
\nA one-time observational experience designed for career exploration or professional interest.<\/p>\n

Experience Description:<\/strong>
\nParticipants will observe and accompany a neurosurgery team member during a single work shift.<\/p>\n

  1. Secure a Host\/Preceptor<\/strong>
    \nIt is your responsibility to find a host willing to supervise your shadowing experience.<\/li>\n
  2. Complete the <\/strong>Unpaid Experience Request Form<\/a>\n
