Royce Mohan and Paola Bargagna-Mohan is studying how toxic chemicals cause injury to corneal nerves. Peter has received a prestigious travel award to present his latest findings at the 9th\u00a0Military Vision Symposium at Harvard Ophthalmology\/Mass Eye and Ear in Boston. Peter\u2019s research delves into the study of chemical injury to corneal Schwann cells and their role in maintenance of the health of the nerves of the cornea, the most sensitive tissue of the human body. He will be presenting his exciting findings on an FDA approved drug that rescues the nervous tissue and aids in axonal regeneration.
