Aspiring to become an Ophthalmologist, Ezii combined his studies with research in the Mohan lab in the neuroscience department to investigate mechanisms of ocular injury from chemical warfare agents. His notable contribution developing an ocular model of nitrogen mustard injury and illuminating a novel mechanism has been submitted to a leading vision research journal.
