MS Education Series
The MS Education Series meets on the second Wednesday of every month from 2-3 p.m.

Walk MS
UConn Health is a proud sponsor of Walk MS. Walk MS brings people together to raise funds that are funneled into support programs for people with MS and research to find new and better ways to treat MS.

Known Risk Factors of MS
No one knows the cause of MS, but there have been some risk factors associated with an increased chance of having it. The following groups are at greater odds to receive an MS diagnosis:
- Women
- Obese people
- People who live in a colder climate.
- Caucasians
- African American women
- African American men over 50
- People with a family history of MS
- People who have been diagnosed with another immune disorder
- Smokers
