The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery currently offers unpaid student experiences in the research laboratory and clinical shadowing during the summer months (May-August). Full- and part-time positions are available but are limited in number due to the highly competitive nature of the program. Please note that each student is responsible for a $75.00 background check fee. Checks should be made payable to the Department of Public Safety. Fee is waived for UConn students and minors.
