Our primary commitment is to support UConn Health faculty and staff select, deploy and utilize desktop technology. The following departments are here to help within their specific area of expertise:
- IT Service Desk (x4400): An internal technical support center, providing 24/7 phone based technical support for UConn Health desktop computing environments. The Service Desk offers assistance for faculty, staff, students and patients and averages a rate of 60-70% for resolution during the first call. For non-urgent items, email requests can be sent to email@example.com.
- Field Tech Support: Provides desk side technical support Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for PC, MAC and related technologies. Technicians are assigned geographically in order to facilitate relationship building with their customers.
- IT Business Services: Assisting customers in obtaining the proper technology for business needs. Ensuring proper contracts and agreements are in place with vendors and encourages use of selected standard technologies.
IT Support Services
