The paper first authored by Dr.<span>\u00a0<\/span>Atri Ta, a postdoctoral fellow in the Kailasan Vanaja lab, identified a novel autotransporter protein secreted by Enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli that functions as a suppressor of host type I interferon defense.
