Instructions on how to connect to the CAM VPN are located here: <a href=\"https:\/\/health.uconn.edu\/high-performance-computing\/tutorials\/cam-vpn\/\" rel=\"\">CAM VPN<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p>1. Click on the following link to bring you to the Geneious Prime download page: <a href=\"http:\/\/geneious.cam.uchc.edu:8080\/GeneiousServer\/index.jsp\">http:\/\/geneious.cam.uchc.edu:8080\/GeneiousServer\/index.jsp<\/a><\/p>\n<p>2. First, select the link for &#8220;<span class=\"text\">Geneious\u00a0Prime\u00a0client\u00a0installers\u00a0download\u00a0page<\/span>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p>3. Download the most recent version of Geneious, currently <strong>2022.0.1<\/strong> for Mac OS.<\/p>\n<p>4. Then, select the &#8220;Return to Home Page&#8221; link and select the &#8220;<span class=\"text\">Download the Geneious Server bundled plugin file<\/span>&#8221; link on the home page to download the correct plugins.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/health.uconn.edu\/high-performance-computing\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/156\/2022\/03\/icons8-mac-os-logo-48.png\" alt=\"MacOS Logo\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-643\" width=\"30\" height=\"30\" \/>\u00a0 Install &amp; License Geneious Prime<\/h2>\n<p><em>Note: Older versions of Mac OSX may not support Geneious Prime. If prompted to update to a newer version than <strong>2022.0.1<\/strong> you will want to decline it. If updated the license server will be unable to connect to your Geneious instance and you will be forced to re-install or downgrade.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>1. Double-click to open the .dmg installer file. Once in the <strong>Applications<\/strong> folder, double-click to open the <strong>Geneious<\/strong> <strong>Prime<\/strong> software.<\/p>\n<p>4. You will get a warning that your license is not valid. Select the radio button next to <em>License server<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>7. Once successful, you will get a pop-up indicating that the license has been obtained from the FLEXnet server.
