Key training information is highlighted below.<\/p>\n<p>Training modules will be assigned to employees in <strong>mid-October<\/strong> and must be completed within the <a href=\"https:\/\/shib.uchc.edu\/idp\/Authn\/UserPassword\" class=\"broken_link\">Saba Learning Center<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Three (3)<\/strong> training courses will be required. When training is launched, you will receive <strong>3 separate emails <\/strong>from <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">sabacloud@uchc.edu<\/span>, one for each of the following courses:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>2021 Healthcare Compliance Training<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/health.uconn.edu\/healthcare-compliance-privacy\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/253\/2021\/09\/Picture4-3-300x195.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"312\" height=\"203\" class=\"alignright wp-image-1769\" \/><\/li>\n<li>2021 HIPAA Privacy Training<\/li>\n<li>2021 Security Awareness Training<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You have <strong>90 days<\/strong> from when the courses are assigned to you to complete them. Different deadlines may apply to employees on a leave of absence.<\/p>\n<ul><\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul><\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Compliance training is a key component of the University\u2019s compliance program and is required by law and <a href=\"https:\/\/policy.uconn.edu\/2011\/05\/17\/compliance-training-policy\/\">University policy<\/a>. Courses are designed to educate the UConn Health community on identifying, preventing and detecting incidents of non-compliance.<\/p>\n<p>Many training questions can be answered by visiting our <a href=\"https:\/\/health.uconn.edu\/healthcare-compliance-privacy\/education-and-training\/\">Training FAQ\u2019s page<\/a>.
