\"BoakeIn honor of Dr. Boake Plessy\u2019s contributions to UConn Health, we have established a scholarship fund that is used to support educational enhancement for students who have participated in the\u00a0Aetna HPPI Doctors Academy and are planning to continue their education at the post-secondary level. The Friends of the Department of Health Career Opportunity Programs<\/a> \u2013 Boake L. Plessy, Ph.D. Scholarship Fund <\/strong>gives these students an opportunity to continue pursuing leadership positions in the health field.<\/p>\n

Other ways to support the Health Career Opportunity Programs include making a gift to the following funds:<\/p>\n

Elbert A. Powell Minority Enrichment Fund<\/strong> \u2013 supporting educational opportunities taught by leaders in community health and minority professional development<\/p>\n

West Middle School Great Explorations Program<\/strong> \u2013 program and operational support for HCOP programming at Hartford\u2019s West Middle School<\/p>\n

John and Valerie Rowe Health Professions Scholars Program Endowment Fund <\/strong><\/p>\n
