UConn Health is also conveniently located about two hours by car from both Boston and New York City.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, outstanding local recreation areas offer camping, hiking, running trails, horseback riding canoeing\/tubing, skiing, golfing, fresh and salt water beaches, and more. Professional sporting teams in the area include the Atlantic League (ALPB) <a href=\"http:\/\/nbbees.com\/home\/\">New Britain Bees<\/a>\u00a0and Double-A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.milb.com\/hartford\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hartford Yard Goats<\/a> baseball teams, AHL <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hartfordwolfpack.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hartford Wolf Pack<\/a> hockey, and WNBA <a href=\"http:\/\/sun.wnba.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Connecticut Sun<\/a>.
