It is very satisfying to transition between nerve work, fracture care, and soft tissue procedures within the same OR day. Each operation requires a high level of precision and detailed anatomical knowledge, which I find both intellectually and technically rewarding. The hand is not only a remarkable instrument of function but also a primary way we connect with others and engage with our environment.
