It provides a flexible two-year training program encompassing both clinical and research aspects of infectious diseases. The ongoing\u00a0 educational activities of the division ensure exposure to all aspects of infectious diseases.<\/p>\n<p>While the emphasis of the program is on an understanding of the pathogenesis of infectious diseases and host-defense mechanisms, there is sufficient latitude and flexibility to encompass individual preferences. A combined graduate program toward a Master of Public Health degree is available.
