Our program participates in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/students-residents.aamc.org\/applying-residency\/applying-residencies-eras\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS)<\/a>\u00a0and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nrmp.org\/\">National Residency Matching Program (NRMP)<\/a>.\u00a0Submit your application through\u00a0<a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/students-residents.aamc.org\/applying-residency\/applying-residencies-eras\/\">ERAS.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Applications must be received through ERAS by August 23 of the current year. If selected for an interview, you will be contacted by the fellowship coordinator via email or phone. Interviews take place in the months of September, October, and November.<\/p>\n<h3>Program Requirements<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Requirements of the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Completion of previous Cardiology Fellowship<\/li>\n<li>ABIM board certified or eligible status for Cardiovascular Disease<\/li>\n<li>Completion and passing of all three USMLE steps<\/li>\n<li>A valid ECFMG certificate for all foreign medical graduates<\/li>\n<li>U.S. citizenship, U.S. permanent residency, and J1 visas only.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>How to Apply<\/h3>\n<p>Positions starting July 2024 have been filled. Recruitment for positions starting in July 2025 will start in summer of 2024.<\/p>\n<p>This recruitment process participates in the ERAS and the NRMP MATCH to fill positions that will start training in July 2025.<\/p>\n<h3>Documents to Submit<\/h3>\n<p>The following need to be submitted via ERAS with the application:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ERAS application<\/li>\n<li>CV<\/li>\n<li>Personal Statement<\/li>\n<li>Dean\u2019s Letter<\/li>\n<li>ECFMG Status Report<\/li>\n<li>Letters of Recommendation (3)<\/li>\n<li>Medical School Diploma<\/li>\n<li>Medical School Transcript<\/li>\n<li>Photograph<\/li>\n<li>USMLE Transcripts \u2013 Steps 1, 2, and 3<\/li>\n<li>If applicable, COMLEX levels 1-3<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Interviews<\/h3>\n<p>Candidates selected for interviews will be contacted by the program in September.
