A Chair or Program Director is not required.<\/li>\n<li>Curriculum Vitae including honors and publications in ERAS format<\/li>\n<li>USMLE\/COMLEX Transcript (Step 1 must be received prior to interview and Step 2 prior to match list submission.)<\/li>\n<li>Personal Statement<\/li>\n<li>Photograph<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All candidates must be interviewed in order to be considered in the match for our program. Selected applicants will be invited to schedule an interview after review of their application.<\/p>\n<p>For PL-1 positions, the University of Connecticut Pediatric Residency Program participates in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nrmp.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Resident Matching Program (NRMP)<\/a> through the <a href=\"https:\/\/students-residents.aamc.org\/applying-residency\/applying-residencies-eras\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS)<\/a>. Applications will only be accepted through ERAS. No application materials received through the U.S. Postal Service will be accepted. The deadline for NRMP match positions applications to our program is December 1st. Applicants who accept an appointment elsewhere, or who for any reason wish to withdraw, are requested to notify our program and the NRMP immediately.<\/p>\n<p>The University of Connecticut Pediatric Residency Program is listed in the NRMP Directory as follows:<\/p>\n<p>University of Connecticut<br \/>\n263 Farmington Avenue<br \/>\nFarmington, CT 06030<\/p>\n<p>NRMP # 1094320C0<\/p>\n<p>For the 2023 ERAS\u00ae cycle, our program will be participating to receive information from the supplemental ERAS application offered through the AAMC\u2019s ERAS program. Applicants will be required to complete the MyERAS application, and participation in the supplemental ERAS application is optional. In its second year of use, the supplemental ERAS application is designed to help students share more information about themselves and assist our program in finding applicants that fit our programs\u2019 setting and mission. There is no cost to applicants and participation is optional.<\/p>\n<p>The supplemental ERAS application includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>geographic preferences\u202f(by region and by urban or rural setting);<\/li>\n<li>information about their most meaningful\u202fexperiences\u202fand other impactful life events, if applicable; and<\/li>\n<li>program signals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Initial invitations to access to the supplemental ERAS application will be delivered on August 1. The supplemental ERAS application must be completed between August 1 and September 16 at 5 p.m. ET.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/students-residents.aamc.org\/applying-residencies-eras\/supplementalerasapplication\" rel=\"\">Please bookmark the supplemental ERAS application section of the AAMC website to find the latest information, FAQs, and resources.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Appointments are for one year beginning June 28, but may begin at other times by special arrangement.
