Our program fulfills this requirement in a unique way. In addition to didactic education, residents work with local community organization during their residency. Resident\u2019s experiences are strengthened by these long term partnerships and can experiences ways they can continue community involvement throughout their career.<\/p>\n<p>There are many communities throughout the United States that are underserved. As a resident during your two call free rotations, there are opportunities to rotate within these populations and with Indian Health Services.<\/p>\n<p>Our current partnerships have been featured in local media and have strengthened ties between the organization and our community. These partnerships are resident led and community driven.
