Janseel Kahlam, DO<\/h3>

Internal Medicine Chief Resident<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dr. Jasneel Kahlam earned his medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital. During residency, he organized and led an EKG lecture series for residents and medical students as part of the Thursday educational curriculum. Dr. Kahlam has also been actively involved in research, presenting at conferences such as the Vascular Annual Meeting and conducting research evaluating the quality of patient education for cardiac disease.<\/p>\n

As Chief Resident at the University of Connecticut Waterbury Internal Medicine Residency Program, Dr. Kahlam is committed to enhancing medical education and mentoring residents in their professional and career development.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

\"Abraham<\/div><\/div>

Abraham Carboo, MBChB<\/h3>

Internal Medicine Chief Resident<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dr. Abraham Carboo earned his medical degree from the University of Ghana Medical School and later completed a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He also earned certificates in Clinical Trials and Pharmacoepidemiology and Drug Safety from Johns Hopkins.<\/p>\n

Dr. Carboo currently serves as Chief Resident in the University of Connecticut Waterbury Internal Medicine Residency Program. His research interests include cardiovascular outcomes, preventive cardiology, health disparities, and cardiovascular workforce development. He has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, presented research at national and state scientific meetings, and serves as an abstract reviewer for the American Heart Association Scientific Sessions.<\/p>\n

Outside of medicine, Dr. Carboo enjoys officiating youth soccer as a licensed referee, cooking, following global affairs, and is an aviation enthusiast.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Ngoc Huu Tu Le, MD<\/h3>

Internal Medicine Chief Resident<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dr. Ngoc Huu Tu Le is a PGY-3 Chief Resident in the University of Connecticut Waterbury Internal Medicine Residency Program. He earned his medical degree from Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy.<\/p>\n

His academic interests include physiology and clinical procedures, and he is passionate about improving the patient experience and streamlining administrative workflows to support resident well-being. In his free time, Dr. Le enjoys studying history, particularly American and East Asian history. He also enjoys riding his motorcycle\u2014always with the proper protective gear, much to the reassurance of his friends.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
