During residency, he organized and led an EKG lecture series for residents and medical students as part of the Thursday educational curriculum. He also earned certificates in Clinical Trials and Pharmacoepidemiology and Drug Safety from Johns Hopkins.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Carboo currently serves as Chief Resident in the University of Connecticut Waterbury Internal Medicine Residency Program. His research interests include cardiovascular outcomes, preventive cardiology, health disparities, and cardiovascular workforce development. He has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, presented research at national and state scientific meetings, and serves as an abstract reviewer for the American Heart Association Scientific Sessions.<\/p>\n<p>Outside of medicine, Dr. Carboo enjoys officiating youth soccer as a licensed referee, cooking, following global affairs, and is an aviation enthusiast.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"pg-36139-2\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-no-style\" ><div id=\"pgc-36139-2-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\" ><div id=\"panel-36139-2-0-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_media_image panel-first-child panel-last-child\" data-index=\"4\" ><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"160\" height=\"208\" src=\"https:\/\/health.uconn.edu\/graduate-medical-education\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/20\/2025\/08\/Ngoc-Huu-T.-Le-MD.jpg\" class=\"image wp-image-36172  attachment-full size-full\" alt=\"Ngoc Huu T. He earned his medical degree from Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy.<\/p>\n<p>His academic interests include physiology and clinical procedures, and he is passionate about improving the patient experience and streamlining administrative workflows to support resident well-being. In his free time, Dr. Le enjoys studying history, particularly American and East Asian history.
