\"Outpatient<\/div>

Our program will ensure all residents are prepared to practice general pediatrics.\u00a0This experience\u00a0allows all\u00a0residents the opportunity to rotate in an academic urban practice.\u00a0This year we have implemented the modified X+Y schedule\u00a0in order to limit continuity clinic from inpatient blocks. Each resident will have 6 Y weeks per year which will be a combination of continuity clinic and ambulatory time with administrative time as well incorporated.<\/p>\n

  • Second largest pediatric primary care practice in New England (after Boston Children\u2019s)\n
      \n
    • New 10 Columbus Nancy Law Pediatric Primary Care Center with 20 exam rooms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Complex care clinic<\/li>\n
    • Population health management<\/li>\n
    • Diverse patient population including large Spanish, Portuguese, French and Karan speaking groups.<\/li>\n
    • Full telephone medicine curriculum and experience.<\/li>\n
    • Residents will have medical students to work with while in clinic to also enhance their teaching skills during their ambulatory rotations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Continuity Clinic<\/h4>\n

      Each resident participates in a longitudinal ambulatory experience during all three years of residency.<\/p>\n

      HIGHLIGHTS<\/h4>\n

      • Residents are placed at an academic center or with a community practice.<\/li>\n
      • At least\u00a036\u00a0half day\u00a0sessions per year.<\/li>\n
      • Residents do not attend during PHM, PICU or ED rotations.<\/li>\n
      • Residents stay with their preceptor to allow development of mentorship.<\/li>\n
