Each resident will have 6 Y weeks per year which will be a combination of continuity clinic and ambulatory time with administrative time as well incorporated.<\/p>\n<h4>HIGHLIGHTS<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Second largest pediatric primary care practice in New England (after Boston Children\u2019s)<\/li>\n<li>Complex care clinic<\/li>\n<li>Population health management<\/li>\n<li>Diverse patient population including large Spanish, Portuguese, French and Karan speaking groups.<\/li>\n<li>Full telephone medicine curriculum and experience.<\/li>\n<li>Residents will have medical students to work with while in clinic to also enhance their teaching skills during their ambulatory rotations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Continuity Clinic<\/h4>\n<p>Each resident participates in a longitudinal ambulatory experience during all three years of residency.<\/p>\n<h4>HIGHLIGHTS<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Residents are placed at an academic center or with a community practice.<\/li>\n<li>At least\u00a036\u00a0half day\u00a0sessions per year.<\/li>\n<li>Residents do not attend during acute care blocks.<\/li>\n<li>Residents stay with their preceptor to allow development of mentorship.<\/li>\n<li>Residents build their own patient panel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our program will ensure all residents are prepared to practice general pediatrics.\u00a0This experience\u00a0allows all\u00a0residents the opportunity to rotate in an academic urban practice.\u00a0This year we have implemented the hybrid X+Y schedule\u00a0in order to limit continuity clinic from inpatient blocks.
