After residency, she stayed on at Boston Medical Center as faculty in the Department of Family Medicine. Dr. Jackson has five years of experience working as a full-spectrum primary care and urgent care provider at a federally-qualified health center in Dorchester, MA, serving medically and socially complex patients in a predominantly low-income, ethnically and linguistically diverse neighborhood. She also has experience doing postpartum, newborn nursery and general pediatrics rounding at Boston Medical Center. After her residency she spent time as a Research Associate at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.<\/p>\n<p>In 2007 Dr. Mathews joined Manchester Memorial Hospital as a Primary Care Physician. She also spent time working in Wound Care and Hyperbaric treatment at Manchester Memorial Hospital. In 2013 Dr. Mathews became an Assistant Clinical Professor of Family Medicine in the Manchester Memorial Hospital Family Medicine Residency before becoming the Medical Director of Manchester Memorial Hospital\u2019s Family Health Care Center.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Mathews is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, as well as the Connecticut Osteopathic Medical Society. She completed her residency training in Family Medicine at <\/span><span class=\"cf0\">BronxCare<\/span><span class=\"cf0\"> Health System, affiliated with the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City.
