Applications will ONLY be accepted through the\u00a0SF Match.<\/p>\n<p>Interviews are by invitation only. When is your deadline?<\/div><\/h3><div class=\"textwidget\"><p>Our deadline is September 1 of the current year.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-3150-2-0-2\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_black-studio-tinymce widget_black_studio_tinymce\" data-index=\"4\" ><h3 class=\"widget-title\"><div class='uc-accordion'>3. Is there a cut off of USMLE scores?<\/div><\/h3><div class=\"textwidget\"><p>It\u2019s unlikely we\u2019ll consider applicants with scores under 200. You must also pass ALL USMLE steps on first attempt.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-3150-2-0-3\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_black-studio-tinymce widget_black_studio_tinymce\" data-index=\"5\" ><h3 class=\"widget-title\"><div class='uc-accordion'>4. Do you need to take the USMLE Step 3 exam before applying?<\/div><\/h3><div class=\"textwidget\"><p>Yes.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-3150-2-0-4\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_black-studio-tinymce widget_black_studio_tinymce\" data-index=\"6\" ><h3 class=\"widget-title\"><div class='uc-accordion'>5. How important is research for applying to your program?<\/div><\/h3><div class=\"textwidget\"><p>Internally, when we screen applications, we use a broad concept of academic potential. We seek candidates who have the potential to be academic dermatologists if they so decide. Prior research is not an absolute criterion for selection to be interviewed, but it\u2019s the surest way to display one\u2019s academic potential.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-3150-2-0-5\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_black-studio-tinymce widget_black_studio_tinymce\" data-index=\"7\" ><h3 class=\"widget-title\"><div class='uc-accordion'>6. How many applicants do you accept yearly?<\/div><\/h3><div class=\"textwidget\"><p>We accept one applicant every year.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-3150-2-0-6\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_black-studio-tinymce widget_black_studio_tinymce\" data-index=\"8\" ><h3 class=\"widget-title\"><div class='uc-accordion'>7. When do you start the interviewing process?<\/div><\/h3><div class=\"textwidget\"><p>The interviews take place in the months of September and October.
