{"id":3029,"date":"2017-12-15T16:09:44","date_gmt":"2017-12-15T21:09:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/health.uconn.edu\/graduate-medical-education\/?page_id=3029"},"modified":"2025-09-11T12:53:33","modified_gmt":"2025-09-11T16:53:33","slug":"application-process","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/health.uconn.edu\/graduate-medical-education\/urology-residency-program\/application-process\/","title":{"rendered":"Application Process"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"pl-3029\"  class=\"panel-layout\" ><div id=\"pg-3029-0\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-no-style\" ><div id=\"pgc-3029-0-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\" ><div id=\"panel-3029-0-0-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_black-studio-tinymce widget_black_studio_tinymce panel-first-child panel-last-child\" data-index=\"0\" ><div class=\"textwidget\"><p><strong>The interview format will be in-person this year:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interview Dates: November 6, 13, 20, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.<\/p>\n<h3>Application Process for the University of Connecticut Urology Residency Program<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>All applications must be made through <a href=\"https:\/\/students-residents.aamc.org\/applying-residency\/applying-residencies-eras\/\">ERAS<\/a> (Electronic Residency Application Service).<\/li>\n<li>All applications must include:\n<ul>\n<li>Three current letters of recommendation<\/li>\n<li>Official medical school transcript<\/li>\n<li>Medical Student Performance Evaluation (formerly the Dean\u2019s Letter)<\/li>\n<li>USMLE score for Step 1 (and Step 2 if available)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Applicants must have graduated from an accredited medical school within the last 5 years.<\/li>\n<li>While there is no set minimum USMLE\/COMLEX score, applicants whose two-digit score is 80 or greater are more likely to be granted an interview.<\/li>\n<li>Interviews are conducted in November.
