It provides future educators with the skills to become effective educators, role models and mentors for students and trainees.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to participating in the fellowship program teaching programs , fellows in the Med Ed track will get advanced training in educational methodologies so that they will be able to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use different strategies to teach effectively in a variety of educational settings<\/li>\n<li>Set expectations, provide meaningful feedback, and assess learners<\/li>\n<li>Design educational curricula around learning objectives and competencies<\/li>\n<li>Consider assessment methods, such as writing effective test questions<\/li>\n<li>Understand types of educationl research, including educational program evaluation<\/li>\n<li>Develop the leadership skills for group discussions, mentoring junior colleagues, and initiating educational programs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A variety of educational experiences create a dynamic and innovative educational program for Med Ed track fellows.
