Position Overview<\/h3>\n

The Department of Radiology at the University of Connecticut is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual for an ACGME accredited Musculoskeletal (MSK) Radiology Fellowship for the academic year 2025-2026. This fellowship offers extensive training and experience in musculoskeletal imaging, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, and interventional procedures. The fellow will work closely with our experienced faculty and gain exposure to a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Perform and interpret a variety of MSK imaging studies, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, and radiography.<\/li>\n
  2. Participate in MSK interventional procedures such as joint injections, aspirations, and biopsies.<\/li>\n
  3. Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, rheumatologists, and other specialists in a multidisciplinary setting.<\/li>\n
  4. Engage in academic activities, including teaching radiology residents and medical students.<\/li>\n
  5. Conduct research projects with opportunities for publication and presentation at national conferences.<\/li>\n
  6. Attend and contribute to departmental meetings, case conferences, and journal clubs.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Qualifications<\/h3>\n
      \n
    1. M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.<\/li>\n
    2. Completion of a residency in Diagnostic Radiology.<\/li>\n
    3. Board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology.<\/li>\n
    4. Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Connecticut.<\/li>\n
    5. Strong interest in musculoskeletal imaging and interventions.<\/li>\n
    6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n
    7. Commitment to academic excellence and clinical care.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
