The rotation will also offer the residents the opportunity to further develop their skills in cultural competency.<\/p>\n<h3>Responsibilities\/Supervision<\/h3>\n<p>Under the direct supervision of a board-certified gynecologic oncology faculty member, the resident will provide outpatient and inpatient services including consultations, preoperative evaluations, surgical and post-operative care to patients at the St. George\u2019s Hospital, St. George\u2019s Grenada, WI. Services will be provided in the outpatient clinic (one day) and inpatient wards and operating room (five days).<\/p>\n<h3>Selection<\/h3>\n<p>Third year residents interested in participating in the one week rotation should notify Dr. Cosin and Dr. Johnson. The opportunity is offered twice each academic year. To increase exposure to open surgical cases, specifically abdominal hysterectomies. The rotation will also offer the residents the opportunity to further develop their skills in cultural competency.<\/p>\n<h3>Responsibilities\/Supervision<\/h3>\n<p>Under the direct supervision of a board certified OB\/GYN faculty member, the resident will provide outpatient and inpatient services including consultations, preoperative evaluations, surgical and postoperative care to patients in Silay, Phillipines. Services will be provided in the outpatient clinic, inpatient wards and operating room.<\/p>\n<h3>Selection<\/h3>\n<p>Fourth year residents interested in participating in the one and half week rotation should notify Dr. Johnson. The opportunity is offered once each academic year.
