{"id":2597,"date":"2017-12-12T16:13:48","date_gmt":"2017-12-12T21:13:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/health.uconn.edu\/graduate-medical-education\/?page_id=2597"},"modified":"2025-09-12T14:08:33","modified_gmt":"2025-09-12T18:08:33","slug":"application-process","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/health.uconn.edu\/graduate-medical-education\/obstetrics-and-gynecology-residency-program\/application-process\/","title":{"rendered":"Application Process"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"pl-2597\"  class=\"panel-layout\" ><div id=\"pg-2597-0\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-no-style\" ><div id=\"pgc-2597-0-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\" ><div id=\"panel-2597-0-0-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_black-studio-tinymce widget_black_studio_tinymce panel-first-child\" data-index=\"0\" ><div class=\"textwidget\"><p>We will be following the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acog.org\/education-and-events\/creog\/transition-to-residency\">CREOG\/APGO RRR Application Standards<\/a> for the 2025-2026 recruitment season.<\/p>\n<p>Application Process for the UConn Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All applications must be made through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.residencycas.com\/\">ResidencyCAS<\/a> (NOT ERAS)<\/li>\n<li>All applications must include:\n<ul>\n<li>Three current letters of recommendation<\/li>\n<li>Official medical school transcript<\/li>\n<li>A Personal Statement<\/li>\n<li>Medical Student Performance Evaluation (formerly the Dean\u2019s Letter)<\/li>\n<li>USMLE score for step I (and step II if available)<\/li>\n<li>COMLEX score for step I (and step II if available)<\/li>\n<li>ECFMG certification required for entrance to the residency<\/li>\n<li>J-1 visas are acceptable for those applicants who are not permanent residents<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Applicants must have graduated from an accredited allopathic or osteopathic medical school within the last five years.<\/li>\n<li>The application deadline is September 24. Upon the completion of the interview process, a Rank List Meeting is held.
