Participants are able to train in a setting similar to his\/her actual work environment to create an atmosphere of realism. Working in this environment lends support to the simulator\u2019s extended capabilities to mimic multiple types of acute crises and patient care scenarios.<\/p>\n<p>Hartford Hospital was home to Connecticut\u2019s first \u201csimulation center\u201d which has grown into CESI, the centerpiece of Hartford Hospital\u2019s pioneering vision to revamp the medical educational system.<\/p>\n<p>CESI is a regional and national training destination.
