Their experiences will include both outpatient ultrasound and perinatal consultations as well as inpatient high risk care. With both institutions receiving a large number of regional transports and referrals, residents are exposed to a large variety of diagnosis and procedures.<\/p>\n<p>The division members are actively engaged in patient-oriented research in areas of maternal-fetal medicine pertaining to prenatal diagnosis, obstetrical ultrasound, HIV infection during pregnancy, and clinical obstetrics. Daily rounds involve any rotating medical students, residents, a fellow and an attending.
