Applications will only be reviewed if the applicant is enrolled in these two programs. Applicants are required to register with these two organizations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We will be accepting applications via ERAS effective the first day ERAS opens in Fall of 2026 through midnight, November 1, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Applications and supplemental required information WILL NOT be accepted after that date.\u00a0 Most correspondence via ERAS messaging.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>We will be holding interviews for 4 (four) PGY2 positions for entry on July 1, 2028.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are accredited to match 4 (four) residents per year.<\/p>\n<p>The following are all\u00a0<strong>required<\/strong>\u00a0as part of your application.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An official medical school transcript<\/li>\n<li>Minimum three (3) letters of recommendation<\/li>\n<li>Personal statement<\/li>\n<li>Medical school performance evaluations<\/li>\n<li>Photo<\/li>\n<li>CV<\/li>\n<li>Official FSMB USMLE Transcript showing all USMLE steps passed on first attempt.\u00a0 Step 2 highly recommended for review.\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>We will not review applications for those who have failed any of their step exams.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Only J-1 visas are accepted<\/strong> by the University of Connecticut School of Medicine for those candidates who are not permanent residents.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sample Contract:<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/health.uconn.edu\/graduate-medical-education\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/20\/2017\/12\/sample_contract-1.pdf\">Download and\/or Print a Sample Contract<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/health.uconn.edu\/graduate-medical-education\/eligibility-requirements-and-selection\/\">View more information on Eligibility Requirements and Selection.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Our program does not discriminate with respect to gender, race, age, religion, color, natural origin, disability, or any other applicable legally protected status.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Please do not send application material directly to us.
