During off hours go to the Emergency Department (ED). Identify yourself as a Consortium employee and state that your injury is work related. DO NOT give anyone in the ED your Blue Cross and Blue Shield insurance card. SHOW YOUR PURPLE CARD.<\/li>\n<li>Leave a message at the Consortium office\u00a0at 860-676-1110, with your name, telephone number and date of incident. Please speak slowly and clearly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you receive a bill from the hospital, please call the Consortium immediately.
