The University of Connecticut fellowship programs at Connecticut Children's offer the full range of exposure to clinical diseases and management. In each of the nine subspecialty programs, fellows are mentored by nationally renowned physicians and researchers in state-of-the-art facilities. Each fellowship program works in an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary fashion to cultivate a "team approach" to the care of patients. Individual fellows progress at a rate governed by their abilities and strengths, gradually gaining confidence, competence, and independence.
