To address this, we model regeneration and tumorigenesis using <em>Drosophila<\/em> gonads. We use a combination of fly genetics with various imaging techniques, including immunofluorescence, single molecule RNA fluorescent <\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW198685527 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW198685527 BCX0\">in situ<\/span><\/span><span class=\"TextRun SCXW198685527 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"none\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW198685527 BCX0\"> hybridization, <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW198685527 BCX0\">OligoPaint<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW198685527 BCX0\"> DNA FISH, and whole-mount tissue live-imaging by <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW198685527 BCX0\">superresolution<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW198685527 BCX0\"> microscopy.
