It is highly recommended that you review the Handheld Software web page to find out what UConn Health’s recommended software will run on various handheld devices.

Smartphones
Smartphones are essentially handheld computing devices  with cell phone capabilities. Examples include: Android phones and iPhones . There is a great variety in the smartphone market so one needs to be careful to choose a handheld that will meet his or her needs and run the applications he or she requires. Also, if you decide to purchase a Smartphone please arrange for a trial period in which you can test the Smartphone to ensure everything will install and run on it. Remember that with a smartphone you are not only purchasing a handheld device but a cell phone contract as well.
