You can complete this form at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.studentaid.gov\">www.studentaid.gov<\/a>. Remember to use the appropriate school code: <b>University of Connecticut &#8211; All Campuses 001417<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 2<\/strong> Review Financial Aid Offers in the Student Administration System.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\">Students will be notified via email once their financial aid offer is available for review in the Student Administration System. Students can view, acknowledge and accept their financial aid offerings directly in the portal. Remember to use the appropriate school code: <b>University of Connecticut &#8211; All Campuses 001417<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 2<\/strong> Complete the Institutional Aid Application.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\">Please complete the Institutional Aid Application. \u00a0Please provide responses to all questions asked.\u00a0 Failure to do so may prevent submission of the application.\u00a0 Have a parent sign the form by utilizing a mouse to sign, then click &#8220;<strong>submit<\/strong>&#8221; for the form to be transmitted to the Office of Student Financial Aid Services.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 3<\/strong> Submit your (student) signed 2022 Federal Tax Return OR Student Non-Tax Filer Statement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\">Submit either your signed 2022 Federal Tax Return including all schedules and attachments or a Student Non-Tax Filer Statement if you did not and will not file a 2022 Federal Tax Return. If married, you must also include your spouse&#8217;s 2022 Federal Tax Return if you did not file jointly. If you are unable to provide a copy of your signed 2022 federal tax return, you may submit a tax return transcript. You can request these <a href=\"http:\/\/www.irs.gov\/individuals\/get-transcript\">here<\/a>, via the IRS website.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 4 <\/strong> Submit Student 2022 W-2 Statements (If married a copy of your spouse&#8217;s 2022 W2 Statement as well.)<\/p>\n<p>If you are unable to locate your W-2&#8217;s from 2022 you may request a wage and income statement for free from the IRS, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.irs.gov\/individuals\/get-transcript\">here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 5<\/strong> Submit Parents signed 2022 Federal Tax Return or Parent Non-Tax Filer Statement.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\">Submit either copy of your parent&#8217;s signed 2022 Federal Tax Return including all schedules and attachments or a Parent Non-Tax Filer Statement if they did not and will not file in 2022. If you are unable to provide copies of your parent&#8217;s signed federal 2022 tax returns you may instead provide copies of their tax return transcript.
