Specific Forms"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Forms<\/h2>\n<p><span>These forms are used to amend your financial aid.\u00a0 They are not specific to any one academic term or year.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/uconn.kualibuild.com\/app\/66464d69ca173e013b93b139\/run\">Request to Reinstate Previously Declined Funds form<\/a> is used when a student wishes to have funds they previously declined re-added to their aid package.\u00a0 This request can be made until 2 weeks before the end of the academic term to which the request is being made.\u00a0 This allows us for processing time.\u00a0 If you are submitting this form with the intent to receive a refund please check your account at studentadmin.uconn.edu to make sure your refund method is accurate.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/uconn.kualibuild.com\/app\/66465244ca173e013bd1e210\/run\">Request to Return Previous Accepted Funds form<\/a> us used when a student wishes to return funds they previously accepted.\u00a0 Like the previous form please submit no later than 2 weeks before the end of the academic term to allow for processing.\u00a0 Please keep in mind that returning funds <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><em><strong>may<\/strong><\/em><\/span> result in a balance owed to the bursar.\u00a0 Any balance owed is the responsibility of the student to repay.\u00a0 If you want to return funds and the academic term or year has elapsed you can make a payment directly to your loan servicer through their website.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/uconn.kualibuild.com\/app\/66464163e126cf013ba3dbe1\/run\">Budget Adjustment form<\/a>\u00a0is used when a student is requesting an increase to their budget or cost of attendance due to a required or necessary academic expense that is not already covered by their budget.\u00a0 Common examples include, but are not limited to, away rotations, residency trips, catastrophic car repair, and study aids.\u00a0 When submitting this form please include the following:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc\">\n<li>A brief explanation of the nature of the request.\u00a0 If you are requesting and increase due to travel please provide a brief itinerary.<\/li>\n<li>Clear receipts for all purchases.\u00a0 Receipts must include the dollar amount of the purchase and the date the purchase was made.\u00a0 Bank or credit card statements showing the transaction are not acceptable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please keep in mind that submitting a Budget Adjustment Request form does not guarantee your expenses will be covered in full.\u00a0 The office will review and determine what expenses and how much can be used to increase a student&#8217;s budget.\u00a0 Due to the complicated nature of this process we may email with additional questions, and the overall process can take several days.\u00a0 <strong>**Please remember that requests of this nature must be made in the same academic term as the expense occurred and must be submitted no later than 3 weeks before the end of the term to allow for processing.**<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span>If you have questions about the nature
