A waiver must be completed and signed by the student to give the university this authorization. Without completing this waiver the student is liable for the charges even if a refund is issued. Follow these <a href=\"https:\/\/confluence.uconn.edu\/ikb\/student-administration-system\/students\/finances-student\/authorizing-the-use-of-title-iv-funds-for-fee-bill-payments\">instructions for completing a title IV waiver<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Student Loan Repayment Information<\/h3>\n<p>Repaying federal student loans can be frightening and seem like an insurmountable task. We have put together a resource with guides, videos and contact information for loan servicers to help make it easier. Please visit our <a href=\"https:\/\/health.uconn.edu\/financial-aid\/loan-repayment-toolkit\/\">Loan Repayment Toolkit<\/a>\u00a0to access the resource.<\/p>\n<h3>AAMC First Fact Sheets<\/h3>\n<p>The AAMC provides supplemental financial aid information for pre-med, active students and residents through articles about credit, budgeting and repayment. You can find that information on the AAMC <a href=\"https:\/\/students-residents.aamc.org\/financial-aid\/first-fact-sheets\">website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>AAMC Financial Aid Resources<\/h3>\n<p>The AAMC FIRST program offers free financial aid resources for prospective and current students. They provide information regarding loans, repayment and how you can afford medical school. You can locate additional AAMC Financial Aid resources on this <a href=\"https:\/\/students-residents.aamc.org\/financial-aid-resources\/financial-aid-resources\">website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>AAMC Webinars<\/h3>\n<p>The AAMC offers on-line webinars for students throughout the academic year. Additional reminders for webinars are also sent via e-mail, are posted to this website and through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/106536676733998\" class=\"broken_link\">UCH Financial Aid Facebook Group<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Forms<\/h3>\n<p>These forms are used throughout the year but do not necessarily pertain to applying for aid. They are nonetheless important and you may find yourself needing to use them at some point throughout your tenure at UConn Health.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/health.uconn.edu\/student-services\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/58\/2020\/09\/William-D-Ford-In-School-Deferment-Form.pdf\">Federal Student Loan Deferment Form<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Use this form if you need to defer repayment on federal student loans while enrolled at least half time. This form cannot be used for private loans.
