UConn Health Merchant Credit Card

The University through the State of Connecticut offers departments who service our community a merchant set up to accept all credit card transactions. To apply for this service, fill out the Appendix A Merchant Credit Card Application.

Send an original authorized document to Fiscal Supervisor, MC 5105. The Fiscal Supervisor will notify you when a merchant number has been assigned.

Upon completion of the application and awarding of the merchant number, the respective department head will then assume responsibility to align with Global Payments representative to secure a terminal and set up billing. Travel and Cash Management Office will provide the contact information. Any questions can be forwarded to Travel and Cash Office or by calling 860-679-2519. A monthly bill statement will be sent directly to the respective department. It is the department’s responsibility to pay the credit card bill each month.
