Family Medicine practitioners are responsible for the ongoing health of their patients by preventing, diagnosing, and managing common health conditions. We treat patients of all ages, from children and teens to adults and seniors. Family Medicine focuses on the whole patient, getting to know their family histories and situation, to provide the best care possible.

Routine Services Include:

Preventative Care

Your family physician provides preventative care, including diet and exercise recommendations and education for staying healthy. Early intervention can prevent health conditions from developing or worsening.

Chronic Disease Management

Chronic conditions, including diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and asthma can all be treated and managed by your family physician. They can also refer you to a wide network of specialists should the need arise.

Acute Care

Common illnesses and injuries requiring a sick visit, such as flu, colds, ear infections, strep throat, lacerations, and sprains, are frequently treated by our family medicine doctors. We can correctly diagnose and treat these ailments to help you feel better faster.

Adult and Child Wellness and Physical Exams

Your family physician can perform your annual physical and recommend screenings based on your personal and family medical histories. They also perform back-to-school and sports physicals for children of all ages.

Pediatric and Adolescent Care

From well-child to sick visits, our family medicine practice offers care for children of all ages. We focus on your child’s individual growth and development, nutrition, safety, mental health, and overall well-being.

Vaccinations and Flu Shots

Vaccinations are an important part of your child’s well-child visit and play an important role in keeping all children healthy. Your family physician can keep you both up-to-date on immunizations and yearly flu vaccines.

Geriatric Health Assessments

Geriatric assessment evaluates medical, social, and environmental factors that influence overall well-being. Our family medicine doctors can evaluate functional status, fall risk, medication review, nutrition, vision and hearing, cognition, and mood.

General Mental Health Counseling

We recognize the importance of both physical and mental wellness and are well-equipped to provide mental health services. Our doctors also work with behavioral and mental health professionals whenever necessary to ensure the best care for our patients.

LGBTQ+ Medicine

We are committed to providing quality care for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer/Questioning+ members of our community in a safe, friendly, and compassionate environment. We have providers with unique specialties such as hormone therapy and sexual health screenings.
