As Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs, Dr. Nissen is responsible for providing leadership over all issues relating to the School of Medicine faculty, which includes career development opportunities.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

\n<\/em>Associate Professor of Public Health Sciences and Medicine<\/em><\/p>\n

Dr. Cavallari organizes faculty development programs and offerings, drawing on her research in worker well-being and mentoring expertise to support faculty. She is a certified facilitator of the Entering Mentoring Curriculum from the University of Wisconsin's Center for the Improvement of Mentored Experiences in Research (CIMER).<\/p>\n

As Program Manager, Donna is responsible for managing the following the Office of Faculty Affairs: Senior rank nomination for appointment\/promotion\/tenure for the Senior\u00a0Appointments and Promotions Committee (SAPC); Post-tenure review; Sixth-Year reviews; Department and Type II center reviews for the School of Medicine; Faculty development workshops and programs.<\/p>\n

Donna is a 29-year employee of UConn Health who started her career her in the Department of Anatomy.<\/p>\n

Provides administrative support in the Office of Faculty Affairs: Senior rank nomination for appointment\/promotion\/tenure for the Senior Appointments and Promotions Committee (SAPC); Project Manager for Interfolio system maintaining workflow and materials for SAPC. Manages Department and Type II center reviews for the School of Medicine.\u00a0 Provides administrative support to the Faculty Development Programs; maintains and upholds the Faculty Development website; assists in managing workshops.
