Our practitioners work to gain a better understanding of neurological disease processes and develop state-of-the-art treatment methods. We are also involved in developing national and international quality measures to guide cranial nerve and brainstem disorders.

We are involved in two types of research:
- Basic science, which seeks to understand the molecular basis of diseases
- Clinical research, which involves patients and has moved to the bedside or clinic
