The System Redesign Series (SRS) is intended to stimulate thought and discussion about what the clinical system at UConn Health should be in the context of healthcare reform. Having the discussion is the first step in determining whether the UConn Health system should become part of the effort in developing innovative models to improve care. The SRS will layout the positive and negative aspects of system redesign so that an informed decision can be made as to whether the UConn Health will work to change its delivery system. Addressing each of the barriers anticipated will be an essential component of the SRS. The SRS will be held twice a year in the Spring and Fall.
Target Audience: UConn School of Medicine and Dental Medicine faculty, other health care professionals, key legislators, the Board of Trustees, and the Board of Directors.
