    NIDDK Repository

    The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Disease (NIDDK) maintains a central data repository (called the NIDDK Repository) of data obtained from numerous studies over time. The NIDDK makes the repository, with appropriate terms and conditions, available to researchers. Follow the steps below to access and download date from the NIDDK Repository.

    1. Complete the NIDDK Data Use Agreement DUA and have it signed by the PI and all collaborating investigators (NIDDK DUA Article 5(a)).
    2. Submit signed DUA along with proof of IRB review; either an IRB approval letter or a determination of “Not Human Subjects Research” by the IRB (NIDDK DUA Article 3(a) to Sponsored Program Services (SPS).
    3. SPS will sign on behalf of the institution as the Signing Official.
