Located on the UConn Health campus in Farmington CT, midway between Boston and New York, UConn Center on Aging is the multidisciplinary home to investigators in biological, clinical, social, behavioral, and population sciences. Our collaborative efforts seek to enhance function and independence in later life with a particular emphasis on strategies to better define and target heterogeneity of aging. In addition to a NIA Older Americans Independence &#8220;Pepper&#8221; Center, UConn Center on Aging is nationally recognized for translational efforts spanning from bench to bedside, and from the institution to the community and health policy. Extensive collaborative opportunities exist throughout the university and the Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine on our campus including joint awards from the NIH Common Fund SenNET initiative.
