Spectrum Disorder<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ct-asrc.org\/\"><strong>Autism Services and Resources of Connecticut<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nA state leader in advocacy, training and family support, ASRC helps to educate and empower individuals and families affected by autism and enhance the lives of those affected.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.autismspeaks.org\/\"><strong>Autism Speaks<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nSite for individuals with autism and their families that promotes awareness, education and advocacy, and connects families with local resources.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.autismfamiliesct.org\/about\/\" class=\"broken_link\"><strong>Autism Families CONNECTicut<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nAn organization founded in January 2010 by a group of parents, grandparents and family members who recognized that there were limited weekend recreational and social activities specifically targeted to children on the autism spectrum. \u00a0A variety of activities are offered for children and young adults.<\/p>\n<h3>Childhood Development<\/h3>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/developingchild.harvard.edu\/science\/key-concepts\/\">Center on the Developing Child, Harvard University<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nEstablished in 2006, the Center\u2019s mission has focused on applying scientific knowledge to close the gap on what is known and what can be done to improve the lives of children facing diversity.\u00a0 Several resources are provided on topics including brain and child development, the impact of neglect, and more.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/child-development\/about\/?CDC_AAref_Val=https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/ncbddd\/childdevelopment\/facts.html\" class=\"broken_link\"><strong>Centers\u00a0for Disease Control and Prevention<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nLearn about healthy development, developmental milestones and effective parenting techniques for newborns to 17 years olds.\u00a0 Resources on developmental screening and monitoring, as well as what to do if concerned about a child&#8217;s development, are also provided.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.birth23.org\/\"><strong>Connecticut Birth to Three System<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nThe Connecticut Birth to Three System helps\u00a0families understand\u00a0their\u00a0infant\u00a0or toddler\u2019s\u00a0development, identify a\u00a0 delay, and guides\u00a0families to support their eligible\u00a0child and connect to their community. \u00a0Eligibility is limited to children under three years with significant delays or disabilities.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/cdi.211ct.org\/\"><strong>Co<\/strong><strong>nnecticut 211 Child Development Infoline<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nAccess point for many of Connecticut&#8217;s programs and services for children and their families. \u00a0Care Coordinators are available by phone to help with general child development, challenging behaviors, disability and health related issues, and more.<\/p>\n<h3>Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/fasdunited.org\/\"><b>FASD United<\/b><\/a><br \/>\n<span>FASD United empowers people living with FASD and prenatal substance exposure to educate systems of care and the public, enact policies, and unite communities
