Assessment and Brief Counseling<\/h3>\n

We recognize that every family is unique. Our assessment process helps us tailor recommendations that are designed to support family functioning and strengthen family bonds.<\/p>\n

Referrals<\/h3>\n

If needed, referrals are provided to professionals and other resources trained to support adoptive and guardianship families.<\/p>\n

Case Management<\/h3>\n

Case management services connect families to community-based resources and provide advocacy and ongoing assessment of need.<\/p>\n

Information and Education<\/h3>\n

We offer workshops and trainings<\/a> for parents, mental health professionals, and educators, as well as recommended books and other resources. We are also happy to provide informational sessions about our program to groups and agencies.<\/p>\n

Support Groups<\/h3>\n

The AAP offers monthly supports groups for adoptive parents and guardians.\u00a0 We also offer a virtual teen adoptee group periodically throughout the year.\u00a0 Call us for more information about either group.<\/p>\n
