Lending Library

Father reading to son

Our lending library collection spans a variety of adoption related topics. There are books geared to parents, professionals and adolescents, as well as storybooks for children.

If you would like to borrow a book, please call us or request a book now.

If the book is available, it will be mailed to you at no expense within a few days.

Books should be returned within a four-week time frame. If a borrower wishes, an extension may be requested. If there is not a wait list for the title, the book may be kept for an additional four weeks.

Books may be dropped off at the reception desk during normal hours of operation (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.). They may also be returned through the U.S. Mail at the borrower’s expense. If mailed, please wrap the book carefully and address to:

UConn Health
Adoption Assistance Program
263 Farmington Avenue, MC 6020
Farmington, CT 06030

Should you wish to add one of these books to your personal library, most can be purchased from Amazon or Tapestry Books.
